Firstly, welcome to the community! Kickstarter exists so creators like us can find backers like you, who believe in us. Its all really simple, just like buying anything online. The only difference is you will wait slightly longer to receive your product. Here are the steps:

• Create a Kickstarter account (Log in if you already have one)
• Go to the campaign you want to support and click on the ‘Back this Project” button
• On the next page you can choose the reward tier you want to back. Choose that and then click ‘Pledge’
• There are some add-ons we have listed for your use. You can choose some here and then click ‘Continue’
• On the payments page, add your payment information and then complete your suport by clicking the “Pledge” button.

And that is it. We will keep updating you on the project status every step of the way. Your shipping address and shipping amounts will be collected from you after the campaign ends.

All shipping costs will be charged on BackerKit closer to the campaign. With continued uncertainty around the world, shipping prices continue to fluctuate, and we believe that charging you shipping when we have a clearer idea of how much it costs will be better.

As an estimate, we expect to charge the following for shipping the LIPSKIT 2.0: Asia - $10 North America - $15 EU - $21 Rest of world - $39 The cost will increase with add ons

The Queen Kit comprises the LIPSKIT in one package and 6 more packages of bullets (sets of 5 each) that will be shipped to you every 2 months. Therefore the shipping cost will be one payment made for the entire batch.

We may also provide an additional courier option for certain countries.

Due to different tax and customs policies of each country, we CANNOT guarantee the tax price. Our product price does not include VAT or import tax of your country. You will be responsible for paying local taxes and duties, where applicable. You will not always be required to pay duties or import tax, but it is important that you make yourself aware of the duties that apply in your country in case you are charged. The LIPSKIT 2.0 is smaller than the average coffee mug so it can be carried with you when you travel. However, for daily use we encourage you to create your makeup in the reusable pots and carry just that with you. The reusable pots are approximately the size of your Airpods in cover.

This depends on the colour you are creating with the LIPSKIT 2.0. If the colour you make needs 3 pumps of the bullets, you are good for about a week of use, twice a day. If the number of pumps required are more, the lipstick will last longer.

Our formulation is long-wear and oil-based. Hence, you will need a light oil like olive, coconut, or baby oil or an oil-based makeup remover to clean a used pot. Soak a tissue with oil and wipe the pot and the brush clean. You can even leave the oil-soaked tissue in the pot overnight for easy cleaning. After all the product is wiped away, give the pot and the brush a nice rinse in soapy water and they’re ready to reuse.

Once a colour is created it can be stored in the pots for a month. After this we recommend that you clean the pots and make a new batch so there is no risk of product contamination in the open jars.

No, the LIPSKIT 2.0 is not a connected device and does not need a power source of any kind. We believe that the simplest solution is the best solution, and therefore have kept the LIPSKIT 2.0 simple.

The LIPSKIT 2.0 uses the best quality virgin plastics when manufactured. Our products are infinitely reusable and can create multiple colours, the only available alternative for which is to go and buy a new single use product for every single colour you want. When you run out of any one colour bullet you need to only order for that one colour and the cycle continues. Over a year, the LIPSKIT 2.0 replaces 20 lipsticks that you would otherwise have to buy, making it a lot more circular and sustainable. The bullets themselves are airless and there is near zero wastage in the dispensing function as all the product inside is used. Further, we are working on making the LIPSKIT 2.0 plastic neutral by recycling the same amount of plastic that goes into all the product components.

We use the “best match” principle when offering you a colour blend. So the app recommends the best match that can be created using the available set of bullets you have. There might be slight variation to the colour you want depending on the number of pumps needed, and the set of bullets you own.

Each bullet is 5ml of cosmetic and each pump dispenses about 0.125ml of product. So the total number of pumps available on each pump is around 40.

The kit can make all colors on the Red-Yellow-Blue spectrum. However, some colours would require a lot of pumps of one specific colour, which may not be fully used. In which case we recommend referring to the best match on the app to create the colour closest to the one you desire.

The LIPSKIT 2.0 bullets are specially formulated to work best with the product. We use only high quality vegan, cruelty free and free of all toxins cosmetic ingredients. The colours blends we display on the app and chart are carefully crafted to work with the bullets provided. The bullets are airless pumps that need to be filled in using a specific process. It is therefore not recommended that you refill them with your own cosmetics as the product could get irreversibly damaged.

The LIPSKIT 2.0 is custom assembled with a set of cartridges that match your skin’s undertone. So it’s personalised for you. Also, it includes a physical color blends chart with colors that would look great on your skintone.

LIPSKIT 1.0, on the other hand, comes with a generic set of cartridges and color blends that are not personalised for you.

We’ve also done a fun new packaging for the LIPSKIT 2.0 with a promise to go plastic neutral when we hit our first stretch goal on Kickstarter.

The LIPSKIT 2.0 comes in 2 variants - warm/neutral undertone and cool/neutral undertone.

The skin seasons are broadly classified into ‘Winter’, ‘Summer’, ‘Spring’ and ‘Autumn’. ‘Winter’ and ‘Summer’ are cool/neutral undertone and ‘Spring’ and ‘Autumn’ are warm/neutral undertone.

As long as your undertone is identified correctly, you will receive your perfect match LIPSKIT 2.0.

For example, if you’re getting ‘bright winter’ or ‘soft summer’ as your skin season based on which options you pick in the quiz, you’ll still be identified as a cool undertone person and the LIPSKIT will be assembled with our cool/neutral bullets.
