Shipping nearing completion!!

Dear GoPlayers,
First of all, thank so much for your patience. We know it must be frustrating, borderline annoying, to have waited for so long for something you've been looking forward to since Christmas. But sh*t happens, and unfortunately, it happened to us more than a few times. First with one of our suppliers who overshot their delivery by more than a month, and then with our assembly guys who were flooded with holiday orders from other vendors. And now the freshest f&%kup has been with shipping to certain countries.
Long story short, you guys have been amazing through these difficult times, and we can only expect this from crowdfunders like yourself. Your unwavering support is the reason small businesses like ours can surf through these tsunamis of difficult learnings and dare to dream big.
That said, we're are finally in the last leg of our shipments. We expect to have ALL the pledges out in the next week. Depending on the shipping situation, you can all expect to receive your orders within the next 15-20 days max.
There have been questions around how we decide to prioritise orders sent out. Well, for most part, we're dealing with international jurisdictions and we prefer to club shipments based on location so that it's easier to manage. Delivery to your location may take more or less time, depending on how smoothly the local logistics work in your country, which is not under our control. But rest assured, we are trying our best to make each one of you happy and our ultimate aim is to delight you so much that you end up talking about GoPlay Cosmetics fondly to your extended network :D.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to share an exciting piece of update. We were recently granted a patent in India, and we're awaiting the patents from US and Singapore to go through. This is a huge milestone for us, so thank you for being a part of our journey.
Also, the GoPlay app had some issue running in iOS 15.1, but that's been fixed now.

Dear GoPlayers
The last few months since the Kickstarter campaign ended have been exciting, fulfilling and frustrating all at the same time. We have had to deal with production difficulties, shipping delays, COVID lockdowns and everything else. But there is always light at the end of the tunnel and we are here today to announce to you that WE HAVE STARTED SHIPPING!
Starting last week, we have been sending a few packages out to different parts of the world to understand the time taken, while getting the assembly and fulfilment perfected at our end. Everything is now sorted at our end. Over the next few weeks we will be shipping all of the Kickstarter orders to all GoPlayers all over the world.
Based on what we have heard from GoPlayers who have received their LIPSKITS, there are a few things to keep in mind when you do receive your shipment:
- Getting started - The liquid lipstick bullets you are receiving are all airless pumps, that help increase the life of the product and protect it from contamination. The bullets need to be pointing downwards and pumped around 20 times to get the liquid flowing for the first time. Please remember to hold a tissue against the nozzle so the liquid pigment does not create a mess when it flows out.
- Temperatures - We believe that given the drop in temperature during shipment, some kits have taken some time to start because the liquid inside might have hardened up a bit. But don't worry, you'll just need to warm each bullet up by rubbing them between your palms. Then pump them a few times to check if they are activated, else repeat.
- App - The GoPlay web-app seems to be showing some difficulty on iPhones with iOS 15.1. We are working on it and will keep you posted.
We do appreciate your patience with us during the last few months while we have been getting production and shipping sorted. We hope you will enjoy the LIPSKITs and the add-ons as much as we have enjoyed creating them. Do give us a shoutout with photos and videos on social media, tag @goplaycosmetics. Production is 90% complete!

Dear GoPlayers,
We're super excited to let you know that the first shipment from our manufacturers is on it's way to our warehouse in Singapore! Our production is 90% complete. The 10% that's still unfinished are the LIPSKIT holders, our contract manufacturer has asked for a couple of weeks more to finish production.
So the not so good news is that we're expecting a delay of about 2 weeks to get the product in your hands. Please be assured that we're doing everything in our capacity to get you your LIPSKITS before Christmas. For that, we've arranged for the delayed shipment to be sent to us via express when it's ready. That will cost us about 50% more, but we're taking that hit on our bottomline because we really want to see the LIPSKITs in your hands and flooded on Instagram as soon as possible :)
If you anticipate any change to your shipping address, you still have time to update it till we send our final "Address Lock Notice" email out sometime close to Nov 25th. Our best efforts are directed at ensuring all your LIPSKITs are delivered before Christmas!
Now on to other news, the app is almost ready for testing and we will be reaching out to everyone who signed up as testers on our previous updates. We will be writing to you directly with the feedback forms and the links to the app.
So, we are fervently hoping that our next update to you says "SHIPPING HAS STARTED" in big bold letters, and that it is sent within this month of November. Until then, eat healthy, sleep well and enjoy the colours of Autumn or Spring, depending on where you are!!

Thank you for your patience with us and allowing us to keep our heads down and get to work over the last month. We are happy to report that production of the products has been going on in full swing and manufacturing should be complete within October. Thereafter the shipments to us will take a few weeks more, and we expect to start dispatching your LIPSKITs within November!
We cannot hide our excitement at finally being able to share the LIPSKIT with all of you, and it has been made possible only with your support and backing. We cannot express our gratitude enough.
Now, we wanted to make sure our packaging is environment friendly, but did not want to ship out boring brown boxes to you. We spent some time designing and perfecting the coolest package we could think of, and think the results have turned out pretty awesome indeed! You can see for yourself below, and do let us know what you think!
Thanks everyone who have filled out your Backerkit surveys, and we urge everyone yet to fill their surveys in to do so soon. We will not be able to fulfil your pledges without the right information.
Now, we know you guys are also itching to start testing our web-app. We are just giving it a few final checks before activating it for testing. Please bear with us.
